hi there, outlook2003 sp3 client running on xp pro sp2 machine

already set daily running of auto archive, by observation it run after the first login of outlook2003 client

wondering how can i set the daily running of auto archive to a specific time, say 1:30pm?

many thx!

Autoarchive does not have a "time specific" setting for when to launch. You can only set the frequency in number of days to run it... If you want it to run every day, set it to 1 day under Options, Other, Autoarchive, "Run AutoArchive every [xx] days".

Also, as you noticed, AutoArchive can not run if Outlook itself is not open. So it will prompt you if the number of days that you want to Archive has passed. "Auto Archive" is a bit of a mis-labeling in my view. It really means "Automatically apply my settings when I manually accept running the Archive criteria against my settings".

Best Regards,
Scott
