How to Connect to win2000 VPn server through a Win98 client

My Name is Abraham, I have configured my win2000 domain controller as VPN Sevrer, I have internet connection from DSL. am trying to connect my lap top to VPn Server.
1) i have a dial up account.
2) i have added Microsoft VPN adapter.
3) and i have created a new connection using VPN adapter.
4) After connecting to my internet account, when i tries t connect to VPN server, its giving me an error message
"error 645, dial-up adapter is already in use, close the all the dial up connection and try agian, if this problem persists restart your computer".

Please Help me out to solve this.

You need to make a 2nd adapter in Network Neighborhood, Adapters, Add, Microsoft, VPN. Glenn A
