How to connect to my router?

I have this router that I connected to my laptop via console port? What then should I do to get IOS prompt? In other words, what are hyperterminal configuration? the router is 7500 with 2 RSP2.

should be 9600 baud, 8 bits no parity 1 stop. Works for me on a default router setup.
