how to connect to internet with solaris 9

Hi Experts

I have solaris 9, and i am using my internet connection that is on on Local LAN, but then assing me Glabal IP Address, Default Router, and DNS addresses.

Please just give me step by step instructions to connect my Ultra 10 workstation machine with solaris 9 on Internet service.

Make sure these files are setup;

cd /etc;

edit nsswitch.conf make sure hosts entry looks like below file

# /etc/nsswitch.files:

******THEN vi /etc/resolv.conf********

# more resolv.conf
nameserver ipaddress


*****THEN SETUP /etc/defaultrouter******

# more defaultrouter
IPADDRESS of defaultrouter


****Edit /etc/hosts****

ADD IPADDRESS AND HOSTNAME FOR DEFAULTROUTER
