Hi all,
I have recently started working on crystal reports.I am using CR10,Crystal enterprise 10 and SQL server.
when i try to connect to enterprise it says
"unable to retrieve cluster member,no cms host running at port 6400.."

can anyone help...

Are you running Crystal enterprise 10 on a Windows server?

Is IIS running on that server?

Is the CE-CMS service running on that server?

Do you have any firewalls between yourself and the server that may be blocking those ports?

All good places to start looking....

-do i have to intall a server on my laptop(i am very new in this field so please do not mind my basic questions)
-How do i know that CE-CMS service running on my server.
-Crystal report application server is running on my laptop

Start MENU ->

It will show you what crystal services are running.
