I need to dial up the RS 6000 to the ISP how can i do it? I followed the redbook in how to createan PPP client unfortunately i cannot get a establish connection... Can someone help me????

How to connect RS to the ISP

I believe redbook is fine - please return to it and paste some logs here
check modem too:
- AT&FZ\n should not give any return (ATE0X0&W0 fixes it)
- terminal cannot exist on PPP or HACMP wire end
- Does it dial
- does it dial always
- it will not work with Latest-MS-Chappy-whatever
- check Linux or *BSD manuals on ppp/pppd as they often contain other practical tips to get connected
