Hi everybody,

I have two sites that I need to connect to each other using optera 5200s.

I have 2 OCLD 2,5 universal (Band 3, ch1 and ch2 at each site) and 2 OTR 4G (Band 2, ch1 and ch2 at each site) per each site.

I have 8 MXOs; 4 of them are band 3 and 4 of them are band 2

Our customer wants to connect some servers on the OTR card. They are going to use the OCLDs to connect some passport 8600s. They want aprotected ring configuration.

I think I am going to need to put one OTR (band2) and one OCLD (band3) in east and west at each location in order to build this protected ring but I dont know how many OMXs I am going to need or how I am going to need to interconnect them at each site...

Can anyone please help me to figure what is the optimum configuration per site in order to achieve the customer requirements.

I need to figure out how to connect those OMXs together at each site, if I need multiple OMXs in different bands..

thanks
