i using MS Access 2000 to create a database "MyData.mdb" with password "5259" .
i add a Data Environment named DE which is used to create reports. in the DE, i added a Connection named Connection1. now i try to connect my Connection1 to MyData (just right click the Connection1 and select Properties).
Under the "Provider" tab, i select "Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider", and click next>>.
then it move to next tab, "Connection". i select my database name, "C:\MyData.mdb"; user name is "Admin" (default) ; and the Password is "5259". when i press "Test Connection", a message say:
Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Cannot start your application. The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user.
How to solve this and make the connection work? pls help. tq.
