How to connect Cognos Enterprise Server with Directory Server

Hi,

I need your help.
I want to install Cognos Enterprise Web Server with security features and I want to use Upfront.

- is it possible to connect Cognos Enterprise Web Server with Windows 2000 Active Directory without using a Netscape Directory Server ?

- can I use Windows 2000 Active Directory and Netscape Directory Server on the same machine ?

Yes this is possible. Cognos supports this and includes extra information on using it in the installation guides. That said, I had difficulty getting it to work and wound up going back to Netscape for the time being.
