Hello. I currently have a database called mtms, and an oracle listner of mtmsdb. My catalogs from the user edition works fine. But when I try to connect to another oracle instance(different server) called mtms with a listner of mtms, we get a listener error when accessing the catalog. Is there a way to make the catalog see the other server without modifying all the catalogs.

Thanks In advance.

Impromptu is not able to access multiple DBs. This is an Impromptu limitation.

I am what I am based on the decisions I have made.

So how do you get your catalogs to access another server if you take your old server down?

Assuming all of your objects are identical (tables and fields), you can repoint your database connection. If I remember correctly, you go under Catalog, then Databases, then you change the connection for the database you're concerned with.
