Here is the question: I would like to be able to use my HP 755c large format plotter from my windows 7 32-bit wireless laptop.

This is what I have:
-HP G71 laptop, windows 7, 32-bit, 4GB Ram, NO Printer Port, wireless.
-Linksys E2000 wireless, type-N, router.
-HP J2591A JetDirect External, Cat5 connection, DB-25 connection.
-HP 755c large format plotter (older model).

What I'm looking for is some advice on how to make my laptop "see" the plotter so that I can get back to making some $$ here.

Thank very much in advance.

Perhaps you could get a "wireless access point" to hook the printer into the network. I used one to attach a wireless terminal into an otherwise wired network.

Your situation is oppisite of what mine was, but I would suspect that it might work. Let's see if anyone else has had a similar experience. BTW, mine was a Linksys WAP-11. Wireless B back then.

Look for a surplus D-link Wireless Router Dir-615 on Ebay - I got one for £5.

Re-flash the D-Link with DD-WRT and then set it up as a Repeater Bridge

That's how I wirelessly linked my TV to my wireless network - I'm sure it'd work for a printer.
