Existing system is an 406, how do I connect the 403 using the ethernet ports?

Are you trying to create a VoIP Link between the 2 Units using your ethernet lan ports?

Create a new line on each unit, on the VoIP tab set the opposite units IP address as the gateway, tick and enable voice networking and select H450 protocol. Please ensure that your Router between the 2 sites has QoS enabled.

I am assuming this requestes ties back to your previous request for a solution on the company moving. Remove the users from the existing 406 database that are moving onto the 403 and add them on there. Because you have enabled the voice networking it will automatically do the number routing on internal calls ie make it seamless. You should be able to leave your incoming call routes as they are.

sorry to state the obvious....but you need a VCM in both IP Offices. Just in case you hadn't thought about it

No, I did not have a VCM1 in the 403. Thanks for the insight. I will have one shipped overnight. In the meantime I have a VCM 10 I can temporarily use. I don't need any licensing other than PMPro user licenses, do I? I can just point the 403 to the license server that the 406 is using.

Nope, sorry. You will either have to buy additional PMPro licences (and another dongle) for the temporary 403 site or have them do without until they re-merge. Didn't realise on the other thread you were using PMPro or would have mentioned it. YOu're OK for the VMPro though, no extra licences required there.

BTW there is no such thing as a VCM1, I think you mean a VCM5.
