How to configure my sendmail to 2 different domain names

hi,
i am a new user to sendmail.I have this question here:
how do i actualli set up another domain name so that my server will recognize the domain name ? For example, i have a domain "user1@helloworld.com" ... so i need to configure sendmail to recongise a new domain "user1@hello.com" so that my emails into the LAN to my exchange server.
May i noe how exactly can i do that? i need this urgently...thanx for helping
 
Have you checked the documentation for setting up virtual mapping and aliases? That would be the simplest way.

ok here's a quick version of what you need to do to at least put you on the right track.

first you need to let sendmail know that it is supposed to receive for that domain:
edit your local-host-names file and add your new domain.
then if you need to route specific emails edit the virtusertable with this type of format:
user1@newdomain localusername
or
user1@newdomain user1@someotherdomain

in a nut shell that's all you need to do.
