Hi all
We faced problem want to connect two hipath4000V.4 using topgate eltex multiplexers can't get e1 up

Try and get an E1 tester.
Test in to and out of each HiPath

Check both are set to the correct protocol e.g. QSIG, Q.931, DPNSS.
Check that one is set to the A end and one B end.
Check that you have a stable clock source (DIS-REFTA:;). Normally you would use one from an external line.

Did you activate the B-channels (ACT-BSSU/DSSU)?
Check HISTA for L2 Error messages (e.g. F5413).

If Possible - bring one HiPath next to the other and connect them 'back to back' without any carrier in between.
Get them to work correctly that way and if so then there can be little wrong when you introduce the carrier in between.

Thanks all for advice. Trying to configure in both site optic is UP now, which two pin is Tx of Diun2?

DIU2U DB15 Cable Pin-Out
The pin-outs for the two DB15 connectors on the face of the DIU2U pca
are:

Port 0 Connector Label : Line 1
Rx Tip ----- Pin 8
Rx Ring --- Pin 15
Xmit Tip --- Pin 1
Xmit Ring - Pin 9

Port 1 Connector Label : Line 2
Rx Tip ------ Pin 8
Rx Ring ---- Pin 15
Xmit Tip --- Pin 1
Xmit Ring - Pin 9

When using a DB15 to RJ45 adapter, connect the pin as follows:
DB15 Pin 8 --- Rx Tip --- RJ45 Pin 1
DB15 Pin 15 -- Rx Ring --- RJ45 Pin 2
DB15 Pin 1 --- Xmit Tip -- RJ45 Pin 4
DB15 Pin 9 --- Xmit Ring - RJ45 Pin 5
