I have 4 servers that make into 2 pair of cluster servers. Each pair of cluster is connected to a SAN storage. Each pair of cluster is situated at 2 different geographical location across the WAN through Branch Office VPN. I have some data on the remote cluster and want to share it across the WAN. I intend to use DFS to replicate the data from the remote cluster to the other clutser. However i cant seem to make it work on the cluster.

Can cluster create a domain root dfs?
Can anyone help me how to make the above requirement work >

Thanks

I forget to add, i only manage to create a standalone DFS and not domain DFS at the cluster administrator. However, the remote cluster could not join the target root.

Thanks

Anyone got any documentation on that from Microsoft ? i was searching high and low.... Please help.

Hi i thnk the above link only talk about DFS in a four node single cluster. However i have a two nodes single cluster on one end and other two nodes single cluster at the other part of the WAN. Each pair has a SAN storage on each location. I want the shared drives on each SAN to form a DFS and perform replication of data such that users at both location use a commom namespace.

Thanks
