How to configure additional Query Servers on a separate Web Server

Hi all,

I need to setup additional query servers on a separate Web Server (Windows 2000)in order to use CQ load balancing. The configuration on the main Web Server is:
Windows 2000
Sun One Directory Server
Access Manager
PPES 7.3(MR2)
CQ 7.3(MR2)
Architect 7.3(MR2)
Upfront.
Anyone can tell me if I need to install a Directory Server on a second machine, and what would be the best approach to this task.
