Hi!

This is the problem, I hope someone could help me:

I installed Fedora Core 2, but it did not detect my video card (It is a GeForce4 MX440 nvidia) automatically during the installation, Fedora just detect my video on board card.
How can I change this configuration because it does not let me start X window.

Thank you.

disable onboard video in bios after you have downloaded drivers from nvidia, and installed them. Then you can configure X with xorgconfig (i believe), perhaps xf86config, unsure, haven't done it in a while. But in reality, download drivers from nvidia.com, install them as per instructions, disable onboard video in bios, and plug the monitor into the nvidia card! :)

When I installed Fedora 1, It detected well my video card, then why Fedora 2 could not detect it. I ask because I have also Windows 98 in my HD and I do not know how the instructions you give me could affect my other operating system. Do you think this could affect somehow Windows 98?
