I am a newbie of Pervasive and I had tried to cofigure the old betrieve database written by Magic into the Pervasive Control Centre. I first went to create new database and point the directory field within Create Database Wizard to exactly the same directory where the actual data file was stored. However, when I go to the next step, there is an error message say that It cannot recongize the database. I wonder if it is because file extention of physical database file (the extention for the old files is *.dat instead of *.btr or *.mkd? If so, how may I able to fix the problem. Thank you very much for your help. Any suggestio would be apperciate.
