Hi,

I've four computers and installed Antivirus 8.0 Corp Edition Server on one computer and the client edition on other computers. Could anyone kindly tell me:

1.How to use the server computer to control those client computers? In other words, can I totally control client computers to scan/kill virus at any time other than have to schedule client computers?

2.To follow quesiton 1:can I implement control ability over other client computers if I don't install SCC?

Since I'm just a beginner it will be appreciated if you can show me the details step by step with the related pictures. thanks!

Best regards,
Supermarine

I'm guessing you installed the client software from the CD and not by pushing it out to the client from the server.

If you want to have the workstations managed then in the future you should push the client install from the server.

You can change unmanaged to managed by folling the instructions found here:

1) You can control the scans and such from the SCC. However, you asked about killing virus's other than during a scheduled scan. Do you mean during real time scans? You can configure the actions of both from the SCC.

2). You need the SCC. That is the management interface.

Be sure to write back if you have more questions. We all try to help each other.
