I realize this is a real beginers question but I wrote a simple program in C++ and compiled it in Visual C++ and it asks about a project space? I can't seem to actually run the program. All it does is average some numbers. Talk about a long way to go in terms of learning C++. Ouch.

Thanks.

You can't work in Visual C++ in the mode you work in TurboC 2.0. If you want to make a program, first of all you must make some type of project. After it add your file to your project. When compiller ask you to add your file to a project, it wants to create one new project for your program. You can shoose yes or ok but all the projects files will be generated in the place where you try to compille your c/cpp file. In this case is better to put it in a different directory, only one for a program. John Fill
