Hi,

I hope someone can help me with this.

I have an access table with one single row data, I would like to transfer this to an existing excel worksheet, and then copy&move that worksheet to a new workbook break the link and then save it to a specific path folder naming as "Transit 0000.xls" I would like this actual transit number(0000) to come from a text box in the form where I type the transit nummber.

I would like to put this code under a command button in access form.

Please let me know what further information you need.

Thank you for all your help.

What have you tried so far?

Hi HarleyQuinn,

I was looking for the code to transfer data from access to excel I only found how to transfer data from excel to access. I also ran the macro in excel to copy&paste teh excel worksheet to a new worksheet and break the link but this macro I can get it to work under the code for the button in acces form.

Thanks.

Hi,

Check out CreateObject and GetObject in VB Help. Good examples, so that you can manipulate Excel objects from Access.

Have you tried to create an Access macro which uses the OutputTo function?

Hi GhostWolf,

No I have not tried that. I will give that a try.

Thanks.

Have a Great Weekend! :)
