How to close Access when locks computer and goes home

Is there a way I can get Access to close automatically after a period of inactivity on a users computer. I have a database where for some reason, no matter how often i tell them the users will get up and go home and still be in the database. Which makes it hard for me to do the backups in the morning. I end up going around to the computers and powering them off, most machines autolock on the screensaver and i don't have their passwords unlock them. I know i can us a timer to close forms when the mouse doesn't move for a set period of time, but can the whole database be closed?
