Hi Gurus, A question. Upon exiting secure shell (I am loging into the IBM rs6000 sp (running AIX4.3 via ssh, (all processes started during that session are killed. How can I end my sessions on the IBM while not killing simulations running in the background (I use "&" for launching jobs in the
background)?

run the command using nohup (No Hangup) and and & to run in the background

e.g.

nohup mksysb &

also take a look at the bg & fg commands
