How to clear SecurityViolation Counters?

Hi all,

How can I clear port-security violation counters on a C3560 with IOS 12.2(25)? I just want to reset the SecurityViolation count in the output of 'show port-security' (below). I can't quite seem to get it to clear. Thanks!

On a serious note, Ive never been able to find out how to do this either, and the only time my violation stats get reset is after a reload!

As a note I did come across this

The clear counters and clear counters fastethernet <port> interface commands now clear the port security counters. These commands also clear the other counters for the interface.

however I just tried this on my 3560 running version Version 12.2(25)SEB4 but it does not work.

Thanks for the info...at least now I don't feel quite so dumb. I've tried clear <everything I could think of>. Oh well, maybe someone else can shed some light on this, or maybe Cisco will actually make it work as stated in that document sometime soon.
