How to clear "uncleared events" automatically

Hi,

I want to clear all uncleared events for devices which status has been changed back from Critical to Normal.
I`d tried to create task for that, but it clears all uncleared events, not just these changed.

Please Help!

ps: I`m using CIM7SP1

Clearing Status and clearing events are 2 different things. Clearing evnts will not change status, it will simply "clear the event". Try creating a query that displays on the screen what you want to accomplish and then create a task based on that query that takes the action you want.
