Hi all,

We've got a customer running SBS 2008 / Exchange 2007.

Within the Program Files folder for Exchange, there is a major build up of .log files, which are consuming many GB's of disk space.

Is there a proper and safe procedure for clearing them out to free up disk space?

Thanks.

Probably the best thing you could do right now is run a one-time backup from the SBS console. That will purge the logs if the backup is successful. Then do as 58sniper says, and make sure that whatever backup you have running daily is "Exchange-aware" and will properly truncate logs after a successful backup.
