Hi, sorry seems to be a stupid questions,

what happen is when i install XP FR2 (this is the only CItrix server I have), i did not realize i need to use the domain user with admin rights, i chose SQL SERVER, and use sa account..., it did not give me any error message, the citrix was installed successfully.

but i notice that it was running using AccessDB instead of SQL, so i uninstall the Citrix.

now i try to install the Citrix using Domain admin, use the same SQL Server DB, with NT Authentication...., after specified user name and password for Data Store, some problem occurs:

1. it mentioned that i can not create the farm, cause it has existed.
2. i can join the farm, but when citrix has tried to load the IMA Services, the error occurs ...DBCONNECT_ERROR...
3. had tried to look into the SQL database, and can not find any Citrix db in it... (maybe it was hide somewhere)

my question is, how do i do clean installation,
and remove all previous information from SQL or registry and etc...,

thanks in advance for your help....cheers

Metaframe uses an Access database for its Local Host Cache - this is normal. Perhaps this is what you were seeing?

If you've removed the Data Collector from the farm, then it cannot be recreated - although dsmaint might do the trick.

I think it might be better to create a new SQL Data Store and start again.

Alternatively, start from scratch, image the server - once you've installed all your service packs and applications (in change user /install mode, of course!), THEN install MetaFrame.

Hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
