Client has a MICS (4.1 software?) with T-1/PRI. Carrier (BellSouth), by default, sends clients CID # unless they receive a signal from the client's MICS telling them to block/spoof.

Due to the nature of the business (commercial collections), client occasionally needs to block/unblock their outbound CID. BellSouth says they need "Call Party Number With
Presentation Restriction".

I've tried adjusting the OLI # (per set) and invoking "Feat 819" to no avail.

Another tech suggested entering a code/string under ONN blocking (BRI VSC code), however I'm not sure which code to enter. "*67" only works for analog lines and that has been programmed under "ONN Blocking Analog VSC".

Am I looking in the wrong place? Software upgrade necessary? Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance,

From the 6.1 installers guide:
Note: PRI trunks only support the suppression bit method
of signalling the CO to block the outgoing Name
and Number to the calling party, therefore, no
additional programming is required.

looks like you don't need to have done any programming, should have worked with feature 9 1 8

The book on 4.0 says nothing about PRI's in the ONN section and the first time I saw something on it was in 5.0

feature 819 must work ..fromrel 4.0

try business name field with nothing ... and OLI per set,
with callerID and calledID for the set and appropriate line

Feature 819 does not work. Tried changing/blanking "business name field" with no result.

Caller ID number has been set, but this version of software does not have the "called ID" line.

If I must upgrade the software, I need to know if it will work before I do, or client will castrate me...
