How to check the Daemon.log file for troubleshooting

Hi Team

Can you please provide soem tricks for sorting out the issue from daemon.log file .

Becuase most of he time solution it self is in log after seeing the error . But has we dont have enough knowledge in we tend to do some mess

So can anybody let me know tricks for it

Actually there is no trick. The only way is to open the file in an editor and to find the keyword you are looking for.

What version do you run, btw?
Since a while (NW 7.3, AFAIR), the daemon.log file has been renamed to daemon.raw. It contains a lot of information but also a bunch of variables.
To verify the full content in full text mode, NW provided its own viewer (nsr_render_log(.exe)) which also has a bunch of filter capabilities and help in this case. So you better update if you can.
