Hi All,
How to check the bandwidth of the leased lines on the router. One of our leased line bandwidth got upgraded yesterday.

netlife

You could look at the input/output rate on the router with "show interface Serial0" (or whatever interface you use). This will show a rate in bps.

30 second input rate 2000 bits/sec, 3 packets/sec
30 second output rate 2000 bits/sec, 3 packets/sec

Or, just set up an MRTG server,
Chris.

That's the best I could think of, also: See if you're getting the bandwidth increase. The router can't tell you what the bandwidth is. You can tell the router, and the router takes your word for it.

try using snmpc Enterprise from excellent for viewing bandwidth utilization on any snmp enabled device...download a trial copy which will be good enough.

hope this helps!!
