How to check if procedure is well formed?

I know teradata sql assistant will check if its well formed if you try to add the procedure to the database. However, I'd like to check for syntax errors before adding. Is there an option in teradata sql assistant that will do a quick check without running it?

If not, is there some other application that will check teradata sql procedure syntax?
