How to check an adodb RS status 1

Is there any way to check wheather an ADODB.RecordSet Open or Close, like "connection1.status=0" ?

Here I have one problem:- When I try to close the recordset in my form.terminate event , shows error.

Can you just set the rs variable to Nothing

Set RS = Nothing

i dont think this will cause an error regardless of the state of the recordset. Ruairi

Is it OK that "Set to nothing" without checking wheather the recordset is open or close or not created at all.

yeah, it's fine and shouldn't cause any errors to be raised. You should really be setting any objects you use to Nothing before exiting anyway. Ruairi
