CM servers were known as "Media Servers" in the sense that there were Media Servers - S8500 etc and Media Gateways - G450, etc

Since Avaya acquired Nortel and Nortel had a software DSP farm called a Media Server, that's now referred to as the Avaya Aura Media Server. You can use that for DSP instead of a medpro in a G650 or the embedded DSPs in a G450 gateway.

So, are you asking for alarm info about a media server like CM or a media server like the software DSP farm?

Hi ,

I am asking for the media server like soft DSP
I have logged into AMS in PUTTY and i want to check the alarms .

dhelp - lists help for CM bash commands using linux CLI

Active alarms:
almdisplay -v
Resolved alarms:
almdisplay -res -v
