Hello IT Experts, here is my problem, I need to change my pop3 and smtp server names in outlook and outlook express. ( some clients use outlook and some outlook express). We are in a Windows 2003 server Domain Controller. Is there a way to have a script or something like that which will automatically change the email pop3 and smtp server names on all clients when they first login to the network???? Is this possible? or will i have to manually make the changes in each computer client??over 100 pc's..We do not use exchange.

These values are stored in the windows registry, so they could be modified using your preferred registry editing method.

and how do I do that?? Using group policy? Thanks for your help

I don't know how to do it with goup policy. It probably could be done with a logon script, but you'd have to modify everything related to all the possible mail clients that could be used. This part of the question would probably be better suited to Windows Server 2003 forum (forum931).
