Hello,

I have a micros 3700 Point of Sale System that has RES version 5.2 installed on it, we have been using the register for a year and a half, but just started using the time clock function which works fine. However, when the POS runs the end of week reports and it prints the payroll summary for the end of the week it prints from Monday to Sunday, but the payroll week is Sunday to Saturday at the business.I know how to change the payroll week start day, but when I do this, the payroll summary report still prints Monday through Sunday when I choose print last week.

I seen that you can change the business week start day on the register as well which may fix my problem. However, since it is not a new register being setup for the first time, if I were to change the business week start day, would it mess anything up with the sales and payroll data already is the system for the business? I don't want to change anything if it will mess the register all up and I also want make sure that I have the right steps to change the payroll week start day and also have the weekly payroll reports print correctly, with the right starting and ending days.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

The report is probably using a preset date range. You can go into POSCONFIG, Reporting, Reporting Date Range. It probably has your "Prior PayPeriod Defined" The system gives you options on this page to offset it as needed.

Thank you for the instructions. However, if I offset the prior pay period days to make it match my days and tell the end of week auto sequence to print the payroll summary report what date range would i choose last week, last pay period or pay period to date? My Micros 3700 server does the end of week procedures and reboots the windows 7 operating system on Mondays around 4 AM so it will already be in the new pay period when it does the end of week procedures. The business is 80 years old and they always started their pay week on Sundays and ended it on Saturdays. Please tell me what date range I need to choose.

Thank you.
