How to Change ZOOM TOOL???

Hello,
I am having a weird problem with the zoom tool in PS. Normally when I click the zoom tool it zoom in...then one day I opened up PS and when I click on the zoom tool and clicf in a picture, it zooms out? I can't figure out how to change it back to zoom in? Any suggestions?

The [Alt} key can control the zoom in/out direction.
Is one of your [Alt] keys stuck?
