How to change the sort order in cheques urgent

Hi everyone, we had a cheque run that was interrupted. we followed all the resolution in Microsoft knowledge base 852064. One of the things you have to do is reprint the cheques to screen. the problem is that the cheques don't come out in the right order. What I mean is what printed lets say on cheque 61 may be printing on cheque 64 or viceversa. any ideas or suggestions
