I have a SCO 5 server that I need to change the IP address on, but I am not very knowledgable on SCO. If someone has any suggestions, links to detailed information, or can post detailed instructions on the changing of the IP address on a SCO server, I would appriciate it very much.

Thanks in Advance,

Andy Richards

run netconfig to select and change the TCP/IP protocol information on the interface that needs to be changed.
(this unfortunately wants to rebuild the kernel).

alternately you can manually edit /etc/tcp and /etc/hosts.
(look for the ifconfig commands in /etc/tcp)

once changed you will have to restart the tcp services or if you rebuild the kernel you will have to restart the system.

hope this helps
