Is it possible to change sub reports conditionally? I need to display a sub report in group header[on-Demand] on some condition. If that condition changes, it has to display a different sub report [Both reports are already created /Existing]

Thanks,

Insert additional group header sections and place one in each. Then use a parameter or condition to conditionally suppress the unwanted section. You would format the group header_a and group header_b sections to underlay following sections.

lbass, Thanks for your response. Here is my report layout.

Page Header#1 Customer Name Total Expenditure
Group Header#1 Name Total
Details: [Suppressed]
Group Footer#1
Page Footer#1

I want to keep a subreport [changed to a small letter like 'D'] right before Name field and when user click this letter D, it 'll open up a sub report.
like this :

Page Header#1 Customer Name Total Expenditure
Group Header#1 [D] Name Total
Details: [Suppressed]
Group Footer#1
Page Footer#1

If I create seperate group headers for each sub report, then they will be showing above or below each name.
I was planning to put all [4 -5] sub reports next to each other in same group and suppress them conditionally, but again, they will not show up at exactly same place..[But it works]

Is there any better way to do it?

If you create separate group headers for each subreport, you would then go to the section expert and for GH_a and GH_b, check "Underlay following sections". This will position the subreports in _b and _c right on top of each other for display purposes. Then in the section expert you would also select each section b and c, and go to suppress->x+2 and enter your suppression criteria.

To ensure the display is aligned correctly, select the groupname in GH_a and the subreports iin GH_b and _c and go to format->make same size->height (if this feature is available in your version).
