How to change session data from Reports 6i?

I need to change session e.g. using ALTER SESSION SET NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE ... from Reports 6i report.
since i am new to 6i i do not know where to put this statement, or should i invoke package DBMS_SESSION instead and how?
