Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the server signature.

For example when going to a directory listing or a missing page at the bottom it displays
Apache/2.0.47 (Fedora) Server at foo.com Port 80

Anyway to hide this or change the values?

Thank you.

Thanks. I know about server token and signature but was wondering you can customize this. I should of pharsed my question differently.

ahmtech123,

You can use a custom ErrorDocument when a page does not exist. What exactly do you want to customize?

You can certainly customize the behavior of PHP's "ServerTokens" directive by modifying the Apache source code and installing from that modified version. I have, for example, modified my Apache installation so that the "ServerTokens" directive will take the value "Foo", which changes the "Server:" HTTP response header to read "Server: FOO".
