How to change RECORDSOURCE on a GROUPLEVEL in DAP

Hi all,
Sure could use some help on this one... I have several dropdowns on my DAP that allow the user to select criteria. Can I some how change the recordsource on the grouplevel(header) with code before the page refreshes. I'm aware of the filters that can be utilized but for this page to be truly dynamic need that ability to change the recordsource. Any help would be appreciated.
