We have another company coming into our building. We are going to share 1 Avaya Partner Phone Messaging System. We have a total of 7 lines with 3 of the lines in a different hunt group set up for the other company which I will call "b". We have 2 auto attendants, one for office "a" and one for "b". "B" will have three extensions with phones attached. How do I change the 0 time out option for the 3 extensions to route back to the auto attendant for "b". Currently, if I press 0 during the voice greeting for one of "b" extensions the call is being routed to an extension for office "a". We don't want the phones to be crossed between companies.

Changing Your Personal Operator
Your Personal Operator is the person you want to handle your
calls when the caller needs immediate assistance and you are
not available. In your greeting, be sure to mention that callers can
press 0 to reach your Personal Operator or the System
Operator.
1 Log into Voice Messaging.
2 Press 4 to change your Personal Operator.
3 Choose an option:
• Enter your Personal Operator's extension, then press # .
• Press *3 to delete your Personal Operator.
• Press *# if finished.

Thank you for your help!

I went into the first extension (#20) for office "b". I pressed option 4 for the personal operator menu. A personal operator was not administered. I tried to make it ext. 20, so it would be routed right back into the same voice message/greeting, got kicked back invalid entry???

I would like the call to go back to either the auto attendant for office "b" or back into the voicemail, but the only option the personal operator gives you is to enter an extension.

IF you are using Parter Messaging (not Partner Mail VS), you would create extensions that point to the auto attendants, and set you personal operators to these.

For instance, in the Messaging, under extensions, I create mailbox 51, and assign auto attendant 1 to it, without a phone. Mailbox 52 to AA-2, 53 to 3, and 54 to 4. In the Partner, assign Automatic VMS coverage to each of these, with VMS Coverage Rings set to 1.

Now, for company B, set each mailbox's Personal Operator to Ext. 52.

Thanks for all your help! It is working!
