How to change 'prompt text' on control in EXcel

how do i change 'text prompt'in a drop down list box ( I am trying to update an EXcel worksheet - the author no longer works here.) when you activate the cell with the listbox attached, text prompt comes up alongside, like a 'comment' - I wish to edit this comment. Right clicking doesn't reveal properties

Problem solved --- it was a 'data validation' list not a 'listbox list' !!
