I have a Cisco IAD 2421 Router, with DHCP enabled and I also have a PIX 501 that i need to configure. The Router is giving a 10.0.1.X subnet. I have diabled DHCP on the PIX and tried to give it an 10.0.1.3 IP, but it gives me an error saying that it does not match the DHCP POOL, etc... Am I addressing the PIX wrongly. Better yet what should i do about the PIX not accepting the 10.0.1.3 address?

Can you post your config file so we can check it? You should be able to change it.
