Illustrator 10- I attended a class once and the speaker showed a cool trick on- for example - creating business card, when you have them all on the page, if you selected one's type and changed it all the rest would change also. How is this done, does it involve clones? Layers, Grouping? Help! It would make work so much quicker!

It sounds like Symbols. Create one piece of artwork and drag it onto the symbols palette. Now drag multiple copies onto the canvas.

To update the symbol, select one of the instances on the canvas and click the 'break link' button on the symbols palette. Make your changes, then select the artwork on the canvas AND the symbol in the symbol palette. Now choose 'Redefine Symbol' in the palette's pop-up menu.
