Anybody knows how to change network card in SCO 5.0.5.
Here is my sytuation: I restored my master backup to new machine, which has new SCSI controller and Network card. I managed to update kernel with new scsi drivers and make it as a boot kernel. But I don not know what is the proper procedure of replacing network card. Should I boot the machine first and ignore all the errors related to old network card and add new one using scoadmin, or should I be more careful and go through different steps.

Any help be appreciated.

Thanks

Probably would take it in three steps, first to remove the old card from the kernel, reboot, add the new card to the kernel, reboot, add TCP, reboot. All this with SCOADMIN.
The errors are going to show as long as there is a conflict.

You can monitor the progress of the steps via the error messages or the hardware detection message during bootup or at /usr/adm/messages.
