The Owner of a MS Access database cannot be changed.

However you can create a new (blank) database and import all objects from the old database. You own the new database. Of course, you'll need the new owner to create this new database, because the creator is automatically the owner (for life).

And what happens if the owner dies??

And what happens if the owner dies??

Then all of the senior Access developers go into a closed door meeting a vote on a new owner. It's kinda like picking a pope, but with out the smoke.

Not to be confused with the false white smoke that MS Access is known to emit sporadically, on a whim, out of nowhere.
