How are you connected to the PBX? Modem? Is there a CEB modem or regular modem. Best bet is to call installer and find out how to get into it. You will have different levels of passwords which will determine what LD's you have access to, again check with the installer they would have set them. I have noticed the phone company tends to use the sofware serial number as the password.
I can log in with hyper terminal and get to the loads. I just need the load number and the name of the command. I need to change the name of the extension, like from "John Jones" to "Fred Smith". I know I can get someone to change this inexpensively, but we are in the phone business and I'd rather not bother my boss. Our Meridian tech got shipped out to Iraq.

I usually out the name first because if the original name is longer then the second you might have a few letters from the first one still in the display.
If you out the name then use the new command instead of change.

if there is a name then do a chg if not do a new at the req prompt... after you enter the name on one line, carraige return back to dn to change or add another.. you can also prt name then at the dn prompt type all and yes to the next prompt.. that will list all names entered in your switch... you can also name acod (for routes and acd dn etc)
