How to change DNS suffix on prompt

Hi to all of you...

can anyone tell me if it is possible to cange DNS suffix
for Local area connection on prompt.
I have tried to do it with netsh command but it didn't go...

Hello mlorencak,

I suggest you take a look at the registry valuename Domain :
Code:
[HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]
"Domain"=   <<<what is this setting?
Can you see the dns suffix? This is the basic of the changing of it. With this understanding, a commandline scripting is then possible.

On a general problem of desiring to match domain name with the dns suffix, this is the ms article:
with about all the info needed.
